To the Edge of the River, harp
TO THE EDGE OF THE RIVER is an expressive harp solo that was inspired by the idea of using the phrasing, pitch and flow of speech to compose music. Much the same way that an artist might paint a portrait, this is a musical portrait of a real voice. Play it with a sense of freedom and feel as though you are speaking through the music. The performer will need to be comfortable with changing time signatures and feeling the expressive nature of fermatas to capture the essence of the music.

Just downloaded. Played her YouTube a few times for guidance through the song. Then took it from there how I wanted to play it. (I’m intermediate with no lessons in years-easy read)
Thank-you Judy! I love that you used the YouTube video as a guide and then added your own expression. Enjoy!
