PERIWINKLE BLUE begins in the magical Lydian mode, creating a whimsical opening character. The middle section moves into a lilting waltz, which is sweet and relaxed.
The required technique is tailored to the mid-intermediate level, with basic linking to create smooth phrases. The left hand will see several larger 10th patterns in the accompaniment. With just two small adjustments this piece can be played on a small harp.
