Open Your Eyes is an expressive harp solo for the intermediate player. It is an original composition, loosely based upon the poem of the same name by Emma Boge Whisenand.
"Open your eyes that you may see The beauty that around you lies, The misty loveliness of the dawn, The glowing colors of the skies;"
This piece lies comfortably in the hands and flows along in a gentle 6/8 meter. Some fingerings have been included to help you navigate the melody successfully. The piece includes a few harmonics and grace notes, but no lever changes. You will want a full 36-string harp to enjoy the low register.
