MORNING MIST evokes the serene stillness of an early morning at the lake, where mist drifts softly over the water. The piece’s shifting sense of time—written in 6/8 but often feeling like 3/4—adds to its gentle, meditative quality, enhanced by the mysterious colors of the Aeolian mode.

Lovely soothing piece to play which isn’t too difficult
A beautiful piece in which you can actually envision the mist over the lake. Anne truly has a gift of capturing magical moments with her music. They challenge you to develop your technical and artistic expression, and are a joy to play. It’s a winning combination.
