Morning Mist, harp
Morning Mist, harp
MORNING MIST captures the peaceful feeling of an early morning at the lake. Watch as the mist quietly hovers over the water and gently breathe. The piece is written in a 6/8 time signature, though you may feel it shift to 3/4 time. The sense of mystery comes from the ambiguous meter and the Aeolian mode.
This mid-intermediate harp solo is suited for a larger floor harp and there is one B flat lever change. There is no fingering or bracket support in the score. A wonderful choice for yoga classes or for setting a meditative mood for quiet reflection.

Lovely soothing piece to play which isn’t too difficult
A beautiful piece in which you can actually envision the mist over the lake. Anne truly has a gift of capturing magical moments with her music. They challenge you to develop your technical and artistic expression, and are a joy to play. It’s a winning combination.
