Mona's Song, harp (left hand)

MONA'S SONG is an early intermediate harp solo for left hand alone. It was inspired by my student who fell and broke her right arm. Did that slow her down at the harp? Not a chance! This piece was tailor-made to use essential left hand patterns and techniques while creating a texture where the left hand is playing both melody and accompaniment.

So if you ever find yourself with a right hand injury that is slowing down your harp progress, this is the piece for you. Or use it as a study to strengthen your left hand technique and artistry.
