Thank you so much for this piece! I am mostly self taught and one thing that has kept me from progressing from very easy beginner pieces to elementary is 1-3-5 and 1-5-8 patterns in the left hand. It seems I'm stuck being a little bored with 1 or 2 notes per measure in the left hand but unable to make the leap to the next level. On an impulse I purchased this download and within an hour I've been able to play the first 6-8 measures of level 3, thanks to the masterful composing. It feels natural and simple, yet sounds lovely and is a pleasure to play. Anne is truly gifted in composing for and teaching students!
Thank you so much, Rebecca. I’m delighted that Just For You helped you make that little leap to the next level so quickly! It’s wonderful to hear that the patterns are beginning to feel natural in your hands. I hope you continue to enjoy the piece as your confidence grows.

I love the videos and technical warm-ups/exercises particular to what I will encounter in the song. Those help musically, but moreover, they nurture security and confidence.
This helped my left hand pattern insecurity. It’s a beautiful song that people like to listen to. For them it’s a beautiful harp song. For me it was a beautiful way to work on my left hand issues.
Dear Anne. I think I have listened to about every song on your page. So beautiful. Having played the piano and going to the harp has been actually a joyful experience for me. I purchased this song along with a few others, So excited to try them out. I love the fact you put the fingerings on there. My brain reads the music but my hands sometimes fail me because i never look at them. I just memorize where they go when reading the music. I never thought i would love an instrument so much. Thank you for writing these beautiful beginning and elementary pieces. So very grateful. Melinda
I'm so happy for you! Thank you for leaving such a lovely review! - Anne
I'm an adult learner on and off for the past 9 years! Getting the harp at 50yrs old was my first instrument. The hardest thing, of which I still struggle enormously, is READING MUSIC. Although I can teach myself basic elementary level pieces I still have to write the notes on the score and only memorising will give me any kind of flow to a piece.
I bought this music not only as it sounds lovely and is an original piece but for the different levels of notation. Love love love the letters in the notes themselves and the coloured C's and F's help too. I really would appreciate more music score like this as well.
I watched your video right through and the thumb slide is a new technique for me and still needs some practice but I can already just about play section A through at all levels. Really pleased with myself.
My friend's daughter has just got her first harp (already plays piano and reads music) and I've pointed her in this direction as your video give invaluable technique instruction, would be cool to play it together. Thanks a million.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! I've done a few songs now with alpha notes and color support. I'm glad to hear that's helpful! 'Hand in Hand' and 'In the Clouds' would be similar. Warm wishes, Anne
