It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, harp
It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, harp
IT CAME UPON A MIDNIGHT CLEAR is an early intermediate sheet music arrangement for lever harp. The broken triad patterns are easy to play, but they sound so beautiful and flowing. Your friends and family will love hearing you play this classic Christmas carol.
This arrangement is written in C Major, but it requires F# and G# lever changes, which are clearly indicated in the score. Low G2 is also required, but easily adapted to a small harp with 25+ strings. Fingering and bracket suggestions are included for extra support.
Listen carefully, you'll hear "Starlight, Star Bright" referenced at the end of the piece.

I love all of the Anne Crosby Gaudet's arrangements I have purchased. I am new to the harp, less than a year, and I love that the early intermediate pieces sound "fancier" than they are. I love that patterns repeat, good for my memory and my muscle memory. HA! They are just beautiful! And I love that she plays all, with a link right below the piece you are considering to purchase, so you can listen to what you can sound like some day. :) THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVELY ARRANGEMENTS!!!!
Thank-you! Yes, the early intermediate level is so rewarding! Glad you are enjoying my music! - Anne
This is another classic that will have you singing along. It’s great to practice flowing broken triads. A lovely arrangement.
