IT CAME UPON A MIDNIGHT CLEAR is an early intermediate lever harp arrangement that brings a flowing, expressive touch to this cherished Christmas carol. The broken triad patterns are simple to play yet create a beautifully resonant sound, making this piece a joy to share with friends and family during the holiday season.

Written in C Major, the arrangement includes F# and G# lever changes, which are clearly marked in the score. It requires low G2, but it can be easily adapted for a small harp with 25+ strings. Fingering and bracket suggestions are provided for extra support.

Listen closely—you’ll hear a subtle reference to Starlight, Star Bright woven into the ending, adding a touch of magic to this timeless melody.

LOVE HER ARRANGEMENTS

I love all of the Anne Crosby Gaudet's arrangements I have purchased. I am new to the harp, less than a year, and I love that the early intermediate pieces sound "fancier" than they are. I love that patterns repeat, good for my memory and my muscle memory. HA! They are just beautiful! And I love that she plays all, with a link right below the piece you are considering to purchase, so you can listen to what you can sound like some day. :) THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVELY ARRANGEMENTS!!!!

Thank-you! Yes, the early intermediate level is so rewarding! Glad you are enjoying my music! - Anne
