This late elementary harp solo expresses the warmth of a heart full of gratitude. Written for the less experienced harpist, this piece requires no levers and has plenty of fingering and brackets to help navigate the patterns.
Ideal for a student who is able to link fingering groups, but has not yet learned to cross over or under. There are a few easy right hand thumb slides, giving students an excellent opportunity to successfully use that technique.
The piece works well at a slow tempo for therapy use, but also at a faster speed for those who prefer the lighter character.
"Gratitude in the memory of the heart." -Jean-Baptiste Massieu
