FREDDIE THE FROG is a long time favorite for elementary level students. This is a great piece to teach with a combination of rote and reading strategies. Go ahead and make up fun lyrics to fit the melody. (RCM Prep B)

Hopping and jumping oh I love my frogs (and snakes)

Mom and Dad please, I’m on my knees
Please let me keep my pet frog!
