Floating in Space, piano

FLOATING IN SPACE is written on three staves to help elementary students connect visually and aurally to three layers of sound. Use this piece to tie in theory and technique as it features a repeating whole tone pattern. Students also learn to shape short melodic phrases with expression. Create a mysterious quiet ending by allowing the sounds to drift away and disappear.
