Printing Hints: Print the game board in full color on card stock, you may like to laminate this page. The four sheets of game cards should be printed double-sided with black ink. You could color the ladybugs or print on colored card stock paper if you like. Cut along the dotted lines to make 16 game cards for each level.
My students really enjoy this game. Teaching whole steps and half steps is normally a snoozey concept but this activity makes it fun and memorable for my kids! My only issue is that students are frequently confused by the direction of the arrows. I wish the down arrow pointed down and to the left instead of down and to the right.
