"Queen of the May" is a terrific study for learning how to place 4-note finger groupings in the right hand. But don't be fooled by my calling this piece a "study", it's lots of fun to play as it celebrates the ancient Celtic festival of Beltane.
Beginning harpists will find this piece accessible and rewarding to play. No levers? No problem! This piece is written in C Major and can easily be played on a 26-string harp. "Queen of the May" is also available as part of the Year Round collection.
A useful piece for harp therapy repertoire when you are looking for a selection that is in the cheerful Ionian mode.
