CLAIR DE LUNE is one of Claude Debussy's most well-loved piano solos. Transcribed for lever harp, this solo beautifully captures the essence of the original piano work, while creating an arrangement that is playable for the late intermediate lever harpist.

Fingering support is not included in this score, however lever changes are clearly indicated. This arrangement uses the original 9/8 time signature, but has been transposed to C Major for the lever harp (E flat major tuning will be necessary to achieve the lever changes).

A favorite!

Anne’s arrangement really captures all the beauty of the original tune. It was challenging, but also so exciting to learn!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the challenge! - Anne

Lovely

This is so lovely Anne. It would never have occurred to me that I might be able to play this but your tutorial on how to count the 9/8 time was so helpful. How would you suggest counting the section with sixteenths? I'm trying to count out loud....a big challenge for me!! Thank you.

Thank you Pamela, I'm glad you're feeling confident approaching the 9/8 time signatures. At section 5, try counting 1+2+3+ for the sixteenth notes. - Anne

Beautiful

Anne has captured this piece with beauty and clarity. The arrangement is flowing and beautiful. The lever changes are written to easily accomplish with the music. A beautiful piece to add to any repertoire.

Thank you for the lovely review!
