FLYING FREE is a late intermediate harp solo that is full of hope and delight. Once you have mastered the syncopated rhythms, you will find that the structure and patterns in the piece make it easy to memorize and comfortable to play. Focus on placing groups of notes together and also bringing out the thumb's hidden melody. With only one low F at the very end, this piece is easily played on a small harp with bass C as the lowest pitch.
