THE LOOK OFF is a beautiful early intermediate level harp trio. Part 1 may be played on a small 25+ string harp while parts 2 and 3 will need 34+ strings.

When I was little, my family would pile into the car and take a Sunday drive up to the Look Off in Nova Scotia, where we could look down on the beautiful Annapolis Valley. Back then I loved watching the hang gliders take flight, soaring through the sky and across the green fields.

Length: each part 2 pages (all parts included)

The Look Off

Thank you Anne for this lovely ensemble piece. Our small harp ensemble here on B.C's Sunshine Coast has just started working on it and loving it. It's very accessible & technically right where we are as a group. We play at the home of one of the group...right beside the ocean with breezes blowing and the occasional eagle flying by. The harps often 'play' by themselves when we're taking a break as the wind ruffles the strings.

Anne, are you planning to write more ensemble pieces with three or maybe even four parts? We would love it if you did!! We all love your music and we each have our favourites.....I'm currently working on The Dragonfly....beautiful.

Ooo, your group should make a video of this one. Sounds like a beautiful practice location! Enjoy!

Wonderful play value!

Such a lovely tune in three parts. I have been playing around with recording/playing the parts using different combinations of harp and piano. All I need now is to work out the chords and add in a bit of guitar! Great play value even if I don't have two other harpists to play with! Thank you so much Anne.

That sound like so much fun, you are so creative! - Anne
